KATHRYN TRAINOR

Research Assistant

Kathryn has held senior leadership positions to develop environmental stewardship and placemaking programs and partnerships. During her 15 years of nonprofit experience, she has built and directed a variety of programs from capacity-building through ongoing park stewardship. She has created strong partnerships in both the New York City Park system and the 10,000 acres of the Trinity River Corridor in Dallas, Texas that engage community groups, government entities, neighborhoods and individuals. Kathryn grew the grant and fiscal sponsorship of these teams to then create and manage stakeholder, volunteer, and youth conservation programs that achieve mutual community building and environmental conservation goals. As part of her professional development, Kathryn provides supplemental research support for Creekbank Associates in the realm of ecosystem services and shares her experience engaging new industries and stakeholders in robust collaboration.
