Jeff shines in terms of connecting successful business and innovation with the nuts-and-bolts of relevant conservation outcomes. He has developed and implemented hundreds of projects in the US and abroad, specializing in progressive ecosystem strategies that leverage the best of technology integration, land management strategy, biodiversity safeguarding, and human dimensions. As a project manager and planner he has envisioned, shaped and executed project design, validation and verification processes, and applied real-world value chain analysis to the complex intersections of ecosystem services, regulation, and diverse beneficiaries. His areas of expertise include carbon sequestration, carbon markets, bioenergy, land restoration, biodiversity integration, project funding, and collaborative partnerships. He is a certified wildlife biologist and is currently leading initiatives including forest carbon offset projects in Belize, rural resilience efforts in Virginia, and the development of sustainable, renewable, agricultural-based fuel products.
