Dana specializes in geospatial analysis, environmental modeling, metrics, and assessment methodologies for Creekbank Associates. He is highly skilled in drone mapping technology and other data management tools for collection and assessment at multiple levels of complexity. He is passionate about enabling best practices and highest-value outcomes from a practical perspective, leading to effective, accessible solutions for both the client and the public.

Dana’s career spans two decades of work in watershed solutions for municipalities, nonprofits, and private sector clients. His purview includes landscape to micro-level understanding of environmental dynamics, biodiversity, water assets and related ecosystem services. Additional specialties include innovating waste-to-resource solutions, stormwater management, GIS, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS or drones) for environmental management, and a broad variety of outreach platforms and stakeholder education. In the course of his consulting work, Dana has taken many projects from criteria development through data collection, analysis and design, resulting in effective resource management plans that work for both the client and the landscape. He is the owner and principal of FluidState Consulting, LLC.
