CHANCEY LEWIS
Project Scientist
Chancey provides biological expertise across diverse ecological systems, including botany, prairie restoration, Threatened and Endangered species, wildlife, and rangeland management. His work involves assessing potential project impacts to natural resources, and the development and delivery of offsets for mitigation and conservation banking regulatory compliance. Chancey brings powerful technical skills in field botany, wetlands and native prairie restoration, survey and study design, and also provides customized wildlife management services for private landowners. With a well-founded, practical, systems approach to resource stewardship, he helps guide diverse stakeholders in achieving shared conservation objectives while also meeting compliance needs. His regulatory experience includes the Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, National Historic Preservation Act, and various state agency programs. Chancey is the owner and principal of Native Texas Wildlife, LLC.
